Our Poughkeepsie and Fishkill locations are equipped with state-of-the-art
fluoroscopic units. Digital imaging allows our radiologists to view
excellent detail with decreased radiation to our patients. Fluoroscopy
is primarily used for imaging of the digestive tract, including the
esophagus, stomach, kidneys, small intestine and colon. It is also used
for guiding minimally invasive procedures such as injections for MRI or
CT arthrography, or insertion of PICC lines. Using imaging guidance
increases safety and accuracy of these procedures formally done "blind". |
