What
is Bone Densitometry?
Bone mineral densitometry uses very
low dose x-rays to measure changes in bone density to determine the
presence or absence of osteoporosis. This is accomplished much earlier
with Bone Densitometry than with the conventional X-ray system. This
highly sensitive system has aided in making the treatment of bone
mineral density loss much more successful.
